Driven by the love of mentoring and instilling appropriate learning habits, Mr Teo has been closely fused with students ranging from secondary school to undergraduates for the last 15 years. As an avid learner himself, Mr Teo hopes to inspire student’s curiosity in the subject matter by contextualizing using real-life applications to help students master scientific concepts. When tackling a tricky question, his methodology includes guiding students to digest the contents of the question and take it on step-by-step by identifying key information from the question.

Coupled with his knowledge and passion in teaching, Mr Joshua’s philosophy in studying goes beyond rote learning. He emphasizes the need for conceptual understanding and integrates real-life examples to simplify abstract yet fundamental topical concepts before drilling into problems solving. As a problem-solving technique, he integrates daily life examples to guide students to apply logical thinking that will elevate their efficiency.

H2 MATHEMATICS

Ms Daphne is driven by her passion for numbers and imparting knowledge to her students. She ensures that her students are in a comfortable space for learning, encouraging them to speak up when they have any doubt or uncertainty. Wherever possible, she introduces real life examples into the syllabus, furthering the students’ understanding and interest in the subject.

With an eye for details, she highlights common mistakes made by students before explaining a clear and systemic approach to the question.
